Sunny and cool in Charlotte Friday: Larry Sprinkle forecast update

Look for mostly sunny skies with cooler temperatures as a dry cold front moves across the Carolinas. This will lead to a shift in the winds from west to more northwest winds as the day goes on. Highs should be in the low to mid-50. It will be clear and cold tonight as temperatures fall into the low to mid-30s.

This Weekend:

Clear and cooler with highs only in the low to mid-50s. The nighttime lows will be dropping down into the 20s and low 30s on Sunday morning. The stretch of dry weather will continue with rain-free conditions throughout the weekend and into next week.

Next Week:

More sunshine and dry weather with temperatures slowly warming back up into the upper 60s to low 70s by the end of the week. The last time there were six days with no rain was in January. You have to go back to February 2019 for a streak of 7 days or longer —without measurable rainfall in Charlotte.

Our next chance for rain is still low at 20% next Friday. This is the only chance over the next 10 days which is quite the change. #CLTwx #NCwx #SCwx
