Warm and sunny Thursday in Charlotte: Larry Sprinkle forecast update

It’s more unseasonably warm temperatures for the area, with afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. There could be a few locations east and southeast of Charlotte with highs around 80. Light winds and just a few clouds. Overnight lows will only drop into the upper 40s to low 50s.

Friday:

It will be partly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Winds will be southwesterly ten to twenty mph. Skies will be cloudy Friday night with lows in the low 50s.

This weekend:

Saturday will still be pleasant but highs will fall back into the upper 60s to around 70 degrees. There will be partly to mostly cloudy skies as well. There will be a backdoor cold front in the vicinity so it could cause a very large temperature gradient across the areas Saturday.

Sunday will be cloudy most of the day with highs very close to the upper 60s to near 70 again. It looks a lot like Saturday. #NCwx #CLTwx #SCwx
